*The first 17 minutes of that half were some of the most painful basketball I've ever watched

*I have no idea how Missouri is only down seven. Xavier blew a chance to be up 20

*Three things about Jeremiah Tilmon: You will never see me write that it appears he has figured it out and turned a corner. Because as soon as someone says that he proves you wrong.

Cuonzo Martin should never have him set a high ball screen ever again

At some point he's going to have to play him with two fouls. It worked tonight that Mizzou was able to claw back in it, so maybe tonight is the wrong night to make this point, but I feel like if you automatically sit him for 17 minutes you're going to lose more games than you give yourself a chance to win

*The shooting isn't officially a concern yet, but Missouri has not shot the ball well from three-point range yet this year.

*Torrence Watson is back to first half of last year right now. He's invisible.

*I still think Dru Smith is a good player. I do not think he was quite what he was hyped up to be. I've seen him play three times now and two of them have been pretty poor. Four turnovers and 3-9 from the field ain't gonna work. Again, I'm not giving up on him, but I think some of the things that were said about him (by people in the program, not on the board) were too much.

*They're in the game. That's not something I expected to say after a few minutes.

*I've never been as sure of anything as I am that Tilmon will pick up his third foul within the first 90 seconds of the second half
