A few things to pass along after reaching out to a few targets/prospects today...
- Mentioned earlier that new 2020 target Dylan Spencer will take an official visit to Missouri on the weekend of Jan. 31st. Kansas will get an OV on Jan. 24th, Tennessee will get one on Jan. 17th. While he's listed as a DT, he's being recruited by all three schools as an offensive lineman. New OL coach Marcus Johnson reached out and Spencer knows him quite well from his time at Mississippi State.
- Vanderbilt offensive tackle Devin Cochran is in the transfer portal and is set to graduate in May. He confirmed with us that he is talking with Eli Drinkwitz, Charlie Harbison, and he had his first conversation with Marcus Johnson last night. He is interested in Missouri, not sure if he will take a visit there at the moment because he is still feeling things out with other schools. He won't start taking visits until March, but expect him to be a popular grad transfer option. He's started 32 games, primarily at left tackle, his last three years at Vandy. We expect Georgia Tech and Georgia to be heavily involved since he's from the Atlanta area and Tech was one of the first schools to reach out.
- Caldwell confirmed with us today that he has an offer from Missouri, but he hasn't locked in a visit at the moment. The only official he has scheduled right now is to South Carolina on January 31st. Tennessee is another school that is also involved with the former East Carolina commit.
- Brown didn't sign with App State in December and remains on the market. He told he has been talking with Missouri but nothing is in the works in terms of a visit. He has an official planned to South Florida for now.
- Missouri coaches are following Turner on social media, but he admitted he hasn't heard anything from the Tigers so far. Turner has an official visit to Arkansas scheduled for Jan. 17th and is keeping his options open for the other two weekends before signing day.
