because I'm the one posting it and because it is about successful women in sports.

Google Jocelyn Gates. She is Dennis Gates' wife. Or just read this link.

Jocelyn Gates is Senior Associate Athletic Director and has administrative oversight over tOSU football program.

I have to believe that Desiree Reed-Francois and Jocelyn Gates have crossed paths in their careers. Women in traditionally male-dominated careers are traditionally good at networking. Women of color are also great at networking.

For those of you who think DRF had "no plan," I ask "are you sure?" (And I could be inventing a story where non-exists but I would ask the question if I were still reporting.)

It will be interesting to see if Jocelyn stays in Columbus. She is making $134K a year so I think Mizzou will cover that plus her husband's salary at Cleveland State. They have two children. (What basketball coach names their son, Duke, though?)

Like her husband, Mrs. Gates has a master's degree (kinesiology-sport psychology). She's working on her doctorate. I guarantee they are both smarter than most of us on this board.

Some of you morons are an embarrassment to our fan base and I hope you don't have daughters with big aspirations to be trailblazers in their field. Your comments in the last 12 hours:

RF is so in over her head. Kimmie was served up on a platter and her dumb ass couldn’t take the easy points and win the game.
Does DRF survive to hire next basketball coach? This seems like tough one to recover from.
Don't need to apologize. DRF pissed everyone off already.
DRF better not act like it’s the fans fault when Mizzou Arena is empty again next season.
This hire likely is the final nail in the coffin of Mizzou basketball.

So to those of you who have made these comments about the accomplished professional administrator who is Mizzou's Director of Athletics, I have this to say: Welcome to the 21st century where we women have endless opportunities. Get used to it.
