After today's game I have officially given up. I have supported Cuonzo and made excuses for him and I simply cannot do it any longer. He has put together a team that is a mess. He also does not seem to know how to coach that mess. I want to be clear I have nothing against the players. They play hard and do their best but Cuonzo must go. Here is where I need help. I cannot help but think that he is going to be our head coach next year. With the financial ravages that our athletic department Is facing due to Covid restrictions and no revenue from the basketball program and football digging out from the doldrums that were the Odom years, I do not see how we can fire him and pay a $6 million buyout plus a buyout on his assistants. This is where I need your help. I need somebody to convince me either why I should believe that they are going to be able to let him go or if they cannot let them go why I should believe that this is going to be any better than next year. Thanks for helping a Mizzou fan in crisis.
