With the injury and suspense of his return we seem to forget how truly great this kid has been projected to be. Hes not your average Lottery pick. Hes not a Tatum or Knox. He's even your average #1 over all pick. He's been talked about as being more can't miss than Durant, Simmons, or Wiggins and the best since Howard. He's been called the best player in 3 loaded drafts(17', 18' and 19). All with a hurt back.

It's crazy we got him and crazy the team he helped put together. It's sucks he's injured. But we have people acting like he will only mess up the chemistry of our team, or that they wish he would just not play. Would anyone have said that about LeBron or Durant? There's no way he doesn't make you better. You feel lucky he even played for you cause if he lives up to the hype you get what no University got with LeBron or Howard. Your university in the limelight. Not to mention all of this after an 8 win season. He rebuilt Mizzou basketball in a year even if he never plays again.
