As previously announced here a couple of weeks ago, we are starting this year's Tiger Club meetings via Zoom. We still hope to be able to return to in-person luncheons at the Westport Flea Market when circumstances allow.
We will kick off the new season with a doubleheader presentation. We have just received word that our new AD, Desiree Reed-Francois will be our first guest, followed by the host of 810WHB's The Border Patrol, Steven St. John, the biggest Tiger booster in KC media. This will be DRF's first public appearance in Kansas City, and we would like to welcome her aboard.
The program is available to members via Zoom beginning at noon this coming Tuesday, August 31. If you are interested in joining the club, membership info is available on our website, kctigerclub.com. Click on the membership page link and join the club.
For non-members and those who can't make the Tuesday noon Zoom meeting, the program will be available beginning Wednesday on YouTube. One of the advantages to participating via Zoom is that you can submit questions to the guest via the Chat feature.
Future guests are as follows:
September 7 Blair Kerkhoff, KC Star sports columnist, MU beat writer, and frequent Tiger Club guest
September 14 Howard Richards, former Tiger All America lineman and color commentator on MU football broadcasts
September 21 Gary Barnett, former Tiger wide receiver, and head coach at Northwestern and Colorado
September 28 Soren Petro, host of the 810WHB's The Program
We hope you'll join the club and join us each and every Tuesday through the end of basketball season.
