This one is for the avid readers. I need good recommendations for novels that do have sports woven into the stories. I can’t ask you for yours without recommending a few of my own:
1). The Iowa Baseball Confederacy by W.P. Kinsella;
2). Blockade Billy by Stephen King; and
3). Maniac Magee by Jerry spinelli.
Three is a children’s book; Newbery Award winner but I highly recommend you read it with your kids/grandkids. It is one of my all time favorites.
