While we were shut out of the HS St. Louis recruits I think we did get 2 big(1 of them literally big) recruits out of the St. Louis Area. I am excited to see what Harry Ballard and Antar Thompson can do at MU next year. If those 2 come in and succeed I am sure people around Stl will take notice.
Add on to that an EStl guy, Beckner, getting drafted in the 2019 draft from MU and that will be more pub.
All the while the guys who left will not be mentioned in the local press unless they have a EE type college career. They are the hot topic now but in about 2-3 days all of the stories in Stl will be about the Cardinals and if Ballard, A Thompson, and Beckner can come in and dominate we will be fine.
