Mauk is 15-4... I think you need to start him. And if he goes thru a stretch like he did mid season last year, you have an excuse to make a change. FWIW -- IMO, Drew Lock is superior to Maty Mauk. And I've been one to think Mauk was talented and that his receivers were at least half of his problem last year. I'm starting to change my mind some on that. It's obvious that Lock sees who the open receivers are... whereas Mauk struggles with that.
Pinkel has always put his young promising QB in the game for one possession at beginning of second quarter. This year though the incumbant is less proven, and the youngster is a future first round draft pick -- thus, I think you have to consider playing Lock for two series.
Do you guys agree? If so, if you played him for two series -- how would you allocate those two series? I'm a believer in being very consistent in something like this as I think if you change it up every game.. it's not good for the mindset of the QB's.
