Grew up a St. Louis Cardinal fan (football and baseball). Metcalf, Hart, Lomax, Anderson, Dobler, etc. When they left for AZ I tried but really lost interest fast. During that time so many teams moved and continued to move after that. I even tried to follow the Bears because I loved Walter Payton.

With free agency and teams changing cities there is just nothing to hang onto in the NFL as far as I am concerned. I never miss a Mizzou football game and watch tons of college football. Because it is always the same team (even though the names change)

If you want to hang onto one of the "stable" franchises it is easier to keep being a fan (Cowboys, Jets, Eagles, Redskins,etc.). Notice how most of the eastern teams are the most stable.

Losing the Rams is just one more reason not to follow the NFL. Never jumped on the bandwagon and probably never will.
