Just my thoughts on how I would like to see us play. I think our hurry up offense will hurt us in this game so we need to slow it down and huddle up. Several things jump out at me when I watched both of our first games the second time. The biggest is the faster we play the worse Drew Locks fundamentals become so I think slowing down will help him focus. When his footwork is good and his reads are correct he is accurate and finds single coverage. When he is playing speed ball he tends to revert to old habits, his footwork goes south and he does not read the defense as well. The offense has to eat some clock for us to win and obviously no turnovers.

I think our defense can hang with Georgia if they are not on the field every 2 minutes. Georgia offense is a power running game with play action passing mixed in. From looking at 20 plays they ran in their last game the tight ends are the keys to read. You can tell very quickly if is run or pass by watching the tight ends. On play action they start running a pass pattern as opposed to blocking. I did not see any delayed routes were they block and then go into a pass pattern. I am sure they have some screens and bubble screens but they were fairly predictable from the little tape I watched . Not a lot of deception just power running and they dare you to stop them.

I hope it is a good game and we don't come out and throw 5 picks like we did two years ago. I think we were shut out in that game if I remember. Drew has to be outstanding for us to win and slowing down will help him.
