Check out this YouTube video of a light bulb changer climbing a 1,500 ft. tall broadcast tower.
The climber's co-worker, an aerial videographer, along with his drone pilot son made this video and posted it to YouTube. It's got nearly 1.5 million views. The problem? It's illegal to fly a drone higher than an altitude of 400' and it's illegal to fly a drone within 500' of a broadcast antennae tower.
Soooo... this is exactly the attention the videographer wanted for his business, while at the same time it's exactly the attention the videographer will not want for his business. Will be interesting to see if the FCC really goes after him and risks getting skewed in the court of public opinion, or if they simply send him a warning letter.
