As Gabe tweeted, the student section was actually decent tonight. The rest of the regular Tuesday night season ticket crowd seemed a bit bigger than usual. You could buy tickets to 4 Tuesday night games for $40 after all.
What surprised me was that when we were down 20 with 13 minutes to go, the non-student crowd did not leave. They didn't leave at the under 12 timeout when we were down 15 or the 8 timeout when we were down by 10.
They got loud. The band played the entire fight zone while the zebras were trying to figure out whose ball it was. The cheerleaders actually led the MIZ-ZOU chant.
It was a small taste of what we used to experience at Mizzou Arena.
Next home game: Rally for Rhyan against the hogs. We've never lost a Rally game. Y'all come back now, hear?
