On Saturday, someone(s) destroyed critical substation hardware at two different North Carolina substations approximately 1.5 hours apart. They used a large-caliber, high-powered rifle to do this.



This has been attempted before, at least twice, in California. The terrorists attack specific hardware that is difficult to find (very few are produced) and extraordinarily expensive.
