The University of Texas is investigating allegations Martez Walker, J'Covan Brown and P J Tucker received impermissible academic assistance to retain basketball eligibility.

There is no evidence that Rick Barnes was involved, or had any knowledge of what occurred. But, its not a stretch to see that he might have been or at least was aware

And if he WAS involved, will Tennessee have yet another basketball fiasco on their hands? As we know, Barnes was hired after Donnie Tyndall was found in violation of his UT employment agreement, following his role in NCAA violations committed at Southern Miss under his watch.

According to the SN article linked, it is not known if Barnes has a similar clause in his TN contract, (although it's hard to believe he was able to negotiate that clause out of his contract)
