Ok he led our team through the wilderness of awful, jaw droppingly terrible basketball. And he spawned all sorts of controversy during his 3 year tenure. His only real highlight was a string of expletives after a single minor of victory.
However, unbelievably, may have been our savior in a very unlikely way. He turned around the APR and, most importantly, apparently ran a clean program when it counted most. Sure other coaches might have done the same thing but, then again, maybe not. And the best part is we suffered no long term ill effects of the CKA era. We are poised to have one of our best seasons in recent memory and have a coach who seems built for long term success.
Sucking legendarily badly wasn't part of the plan when he was hired but it's worked out quite nicely. Thank you CKA and CCM for the way things have transpired.
