Mizzou wasn’t going to win this game, but I think if they could have gotten another game in recently, it would have made the final score look better.
That said, Mizzou has a major problem in that the book is out on how to beat them and there isn’t much Mizzou can do to counter it.
Teams are going under every screen and just packing the paint.
Xavier Pinson is the only player willling to try and beat his guy off the dribble. I think Kobe could thrive in this situation, but he likes to stand out there and shoot 3’s.
They have to find a way to get Mark Smith interested early. If he’s not going to get shots up, play Watson.
Smith didn’t try one 3 pointer all night. Part of that is on the coaching staff.
