- Right now, Missouri will have a spring scrimmage on March 9th and the annual spring game on March 16th. We expect a bulk of targets/prospects to visit on those dates. Of course, some could trickle in during that week depending on their spring break dates at their respective schools. We've had plenty of targets tell us they plan to visit Missouri during the spring, but haven't locked in dates. We'll keep you posted on those throughout the coming weeks, starting with a few below.
- We checked in with some people this week. There's no immediate news anticipated on the commitment front. It seems likely that we'll have to wait until spring practices and probably into March for any potential movement. A couple of targets to keep an eye on for potential early commitments to Mizzou are Belleville IL DT Jason Dowell and Pennsylvania QB Matt Zollers. A couple of different sources have told us Zollers really likes the Tigers.
- Rivals250 OL target Andrew Babalola confirmed with us that he will make a return visit to Missouri on March 16th for the Tigers' spring game. The four-star's last visit to Columbia was during the season for the Tigers' win over K-State. Auburn, Stanford, USC, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Michigan will also get spring visits from the highly-touted KC area prospect. Babalola is among a trio of high-profile OL targets Missouri is recruiting the hardest, the others being in-state product Jack Lange out of Eureka and five-star Michael Fasusi. Both Lange and Fasusi visited Missouri in January.
- Four-star safety Keon Young included Missouri among his Top 10 on Thursday. The Lakeland (Fla.) native was offered by former DC Blake Baker back in October, but not sure how high on the target board he is for Missouri currently. Young was briefly committed to South Florida last summer before reopening his recruiting process. He has yet to visit Missouri, so we'll see if a trip transpires down the road.
- Four-star WR Dillon Alfred took a Jr. Day visit to Missouri in January. He still lists the Tigers as a top contender along with Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Arkansas. He plans to possibly take spring visits to Auburn, Georgia, and Ole Miss but remains open in his recruiting process. CLICK HERE FOR MORE
- Four-star Christian Pierce is another high-level LB that Missouri has offered. The Chicagoland native is planning to make his way to Columbia in April for a visit and will also take spring trips to Louisville, Texas A&M, and Stanford. Pierce is another in a long line of LB targets that Missouri is heavily involved with. That list also includes four-stars Dawson Merritt and Christian Thatcher, along with Sam Haley, Jason King, Coleman Lewis, and Josiah Broxton - all of which visited Missouri in January. For the latest on Pierce - CLICK HERE
- Three-star CB target Donovan Starr picked up a recent offer from Missouri in late January. Along with the Tigers, a multitude of other P5 programs have offered since the new year. However, Missouri already hosted Starr for a gameday visit this past season as he was in town for the K-State win. He's planning to return to Columbia in the spring for a return visit, so things are sounding promising here. Starr took a Jr. Day visit to Miss. State and plans to take other spring trips to North Carolina, Wisconsin, Cal, and Minnesota.
- CBC linebacker Lance Walker just picked up his first P5 offer from Indiana at the beginning of the month. Missouri LB's coach DJ Smith has been in contact with the 6-foot-2, 225-pound prospect, who is expected to visit CoMo sometime next month. Walker took a Jr. Day visit with Louisville recently, he's planning to return there this spring along with making stops at K-State and Indiana.
- New 2026 TE target JC Anderson also plans to visit Missouri during the spring. CLICK HERE to read what he said about the Tigers.
- Current Cincinnati CB commit Patrick Williams picked up an offer from Missouri on Thursday. DJ Smith extended the offer to the current unranked prospect, who told me that was his first contact with the staff when the offer came down. Williams committed to the Bearcats in December, but said he would be interested in visiting Missouri down the road.
