FOOTBALL RECRUITING

- This will be the last quiet weekend for a while as Missouri can start hosting high school prospects on campus again in March. Here are a handful that told us they plan to drop by Missouri next month. As always, we'll keep you updated as we get more confirmation.

Keelan Smith, WR, Liberty North (Mo.) - Will visit on March 4th. Smith has been to Missouri a handful of times already.

Tionne Gray, OL/DL, Hazelwood Central (Mo.) - Will visit on March 4th. Gray has seen his recruiting process explode this offseason and recently released a Top 5 that included Missouri, Minnesota, Colorado, LSU, and Oregon. The newly-minted Rivals250 prospect has visited Missouri multiple times since picking up an offer last summer. Always a good sign to get him back on campus again.

Brian Huff, LB, Valley (Ark.) - Will visit on March 4th. Huff was originally supposed to visit in January, but didn't make it. Arkansas is also making a big push for the newly-minted four-star prospect. He'll also visit the Razorbacks and Notre Dame next month.

Isaiah McMorris, WR, Bellevue (Neb.) West - Will visit on March 17-18th. The WR target will also visit Nebraska and Oklahoma in March.

Ryan Jostes, OL, Washington (Mo.) - Tells us he'll return to Missouri in early March, but doesn't have a specific date set yet. We're hearing that Jostes is pretty close to making a decision and we believe if that decision comes soon it will be Missouri. Locking down that visit would be a good sign for the Tigers.

Marcus Neal, ATH, Raytown South (Mo.) - No offer from Missouri yet, but the three-star visited for a game back in November and will return to Columbia on March 11th. K-State and Iowa State have offered so far.

Sam Kaiser, QB, Rock Bridge (Mo.) - The local signal-caller just picked up offers from Miami (Oh.) and Vanderbilt. We'll see if Missouri will jump in one as well. Kaiser is plenty familiar with Missouri and the program. He doesn't have any dates set yet for March, but plans to visit Mizzou, Vanderbilt, Miami (Oh.), Louisville, and maybe Pitt.

- Four-star ATH Tysean Griffin included Missouri among his Top 10 earlier this week along with Tennessee, Maryland, Michigan State, Illinois, Arkansas, Nebraska, Purdue, and Louisville. To be honest, Missouri chances here appear to be slim unless he happens to visit sometime this spring or summer.

- In case you missed it, Rivals recently updated their 2024 rankings. We profiled the top tier Missouri targets among the Rivals250 HERE and we profiled Top 20 in the Show Me State HERE.

- Other prospects we think are worth keeping an eye on for potential spring decisions:

BASKETBALL RECRUITING

There could be some visits next weekend for the Ole Miss game here as well. We'll work on getting that info for next week's Chamber. For the most part, right now, the focus is on finishing the season. No news is imminent on the hoops front. You guys are fairly familiar with the remaining potential names in 2023 (Kris Parker, Jarin Stevenson if he reclassifies, portal) and with the hot names for 2024. But for right now, it feels like we're in a little bit of a holding period until we get through the season as far as movement on the recruiting trail.
