We are proud to welcome Billiards on Broadway back for another year as our partner and the presenting sponsor of the juiciest dish on PowerMizzou. If you're looking for the inside scoop on Mizzou recruiting, The Chamber is the place. If you're looking for the best burger in Columbia, Billiards on Broadway is your go-to. A great place to watch a game, play some pool and pair a great local beer selection with one of Columbia's best meals. Local sports, Local beer, Local food--all under one roof at Billiards!
If you missed our update on the defensive coordinator search (which we believe is likely in its final couple of days) you can read that here. We try to keep the Chamber recruiting-centric so that's where we'll go with the rest of this.
The main focus here is tomorrow's junior day. Missouri is expecting 40 to 50 prospects overall (obviously the weather could impact that to some degree; there is no more snow expected, but the temperature at sunrise tomorrow is going to be zero degrees). Here are some of the players (and biggest names) we expect in town:
2025 TARGETS:
Brennen Ward, QB - visited for the Florida game in November and picked up an offer. A return visit in that short of a timeframe is probably something to keep an eye on.
Dillon Duff, QB - The DeSmet product took in two gameday visits to Missouri during the fall and was offered by the Tigers in early December. He grew up a Mizzou fan and had family members play football for the Tigers, so he's one to watch. Duke is another school he visited twice during the season - Kentucky, K-State, and Nebraska are other programs involved.
Jamarion Morrow, RB - Missouri offered nearly a year ago. Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, Miami, North Carolina, and Louisville are some other notable offers.
Lucas Farrington, RB - The Georgia native will return to Missouri this weekend after taking in the LSU game back in October. He's held a Mizzou offer since May of last year and has been in close contact with RB coach Curtis Luper throughout. Duke, Louisville, and Arkansas are other schools in the mix.
Joakim Dodson, WR - visited for the LSU game in October, teammate of 2024 QB signee Aidan Glover.
Dillon Alfred, WR - Has been a frequent visitor to Auburn throughout 2023. Also has notable offers from Ole Miss, Miss. State, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Penn State.
Caden Butler, WR - Currently out in Long Beach, California, but Butler grew up in Kansas City and was at Missouri back in November for the Florida game. His other notable offers include Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State, and Washington.
Eugene Hilton, Jr., WR - Son of longtime Indianapolis Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton. The younger four-star talent visited Missouri in October for the LSU game and will now make a return trip to Columbia. Missouri is among his Top 6 that also includes Ole Miss, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Miami, and FIU.
Will Tompkins, OL - No Mizzou offer yet, but holds notable offers from Iowa State, Kansas, K-State, Minnesota, Penn State, Tennessee, Nebraska, Duke, and Illinois.
Michael Fasusi, OL - The five-star prospect will definitely be the highest-rated prospect on campus this weekend. The Texas native visited A&M last weekend and will be at Oregon next weekend. Texas will also be a major player as well.
Daeden Hopkins, TE - in-state target that visited Missouri for the K-State game. Picked up an offer from the Tigers during the fall. Kansas, K-State, Iowa State, and Cincy are other notable offers. Has offers at DE, but Missouri is recruiting him at tight end.
Landon Brooks, DE - Another Indiana product that, like Hilton, Jr., visited Missouri for the LSU game. In-state programs Purdue and Indiana will also get Jr. Day visits from him as well.
Jhrevious Hall, DT - A frequent visitor to Missouri's campus. He was at two games this past season and has a tremendous relationship with DL coach Al Davis. Would definitely consider the Tigers one of the favorites here. The three-star is expected to visit Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt in the coming weeks. Tennessee, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Duke are other programs involved.
Coleman Lewis, LB - The Georgia native visit Missouri in November for the Florida game and will be back in CoMo later this month. He's held an offer from Missouri since August.
Jason King, LB - Another DeSmet product that is quite familiar with Missouri and has been on campus frequently in the last year. The Tigers offered in July and he also holds recent offers from K-State, Kansas, Cincy, Boston College, and Tennessee.
Sam Haley, LB - Another Tennessee native that will make his way to Missouri for the first time this weekend. The three-star has taken multiple visits to North Carolina in his recruiting process, so they are a team to keep an eye on. He also holds other notable offers from Duke, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Christian Thatcher, LB - Four-star product out of Las Vegas whose Mom is from the Kansas City area and has plenty of family still in KC as well. He also has a younger brother that is a 2027 QB that already has a UNLV offer. The older Thatcher has plenty of West Coast offers and will visit USC this month as well.
Jovan Clark, S - Missouri offered the Chicagoland prospect way back in May of last year. The Tigers' staff remains in constant contact and he Clark will make his first campus trip this weekend. The three-star is coming off a Jr. season where he tallied 61 tackles, three interceptions, and five pass breakups.
Charles Bass, S - A frequent visitor to Missouri in the past year and has been in constant contact with CB coach Al Pogue throughout his recruiting process. Drinkwitz, Moore, and Smith just visited the Rivals250 prospect at his school earlier this week as they continue to make a strong push. Bass visited for the LSU game, he also took in a game at Cincinnati, and Tennessee is also pursuing.
Andre Lovett, ATH - This will be the three-star's first visit to Missouri. During the season, he made gameday trips to Purdue, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Other schools in pursuit include Louisville, Illinois, Tennessee, and Syracuse. Lovett plays wide receiver, defensive back, and special teams for his high school team.
JaQuentin Madison, DT - Missouri was his first offer back in September. He has since picked up multiple G5 offers and Kansas as well.
