We'll get you started with an update on some of Mizzou's activity with high school players.

COMMITS IN ALL-STAR GAMES

In total, Missouri had three signees and a major remaining 2024 target participating in the two major postseason All-Star games...Under Armour All-American Game in Orlando, Florida and the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.

Five-star defensive end Williams Nwaneri was in Orlando for UA. Their game was on Wednesday and Nwaneri logged two tackles, one sack, and a pass break-up.

In San Antonio, WR signee Courtney Crutchfield has garnered the most buzz throughout the week with his performance in practices and one-on-ones.

That game will be played on Saturday and will also feature safety signee Jackson Hancock and cornerback target Trajen Greco.

Greco will be making his college announcement during the game on Saturday, obviously we expect him to pick Missouri. He will be a mid-year enrollee.

MOVING ON TO 2025

With the exception of transfer additions, Missouri's focus will now shift to the 2025 recruiting class. We've already dropped a couple of stories in the past week, taking a look at some notable targets to watch in 2025.

2025 Class Trends: Quarterbacks

We also talked with 2025 four-star WR Dillon Alfred out of Saraland (Ala.) earlier this week, who told he'll be at Missouri on January 20th for a visit. That will likely be a big Jr. Day for the Tigers and will feature other 2025 targets. Quarterback target Brennen Ward will also be back at Mizzou on Jan. 20th, he visited for the Florida game in November.

TRANSFER PORTAL RECRUITING

And now, the main attraction. A window opened for mid-year transfers to take visits on Wednesday. It remains open through Sunday. It then goes quiet again until the end of the week and the contact period before the late signing day is open from January 12-February 3. A contact period means you can have in-person contact both on and off campus. There could still be a few more transfer visits that first weekend and high school kids can make visits. It appears Mizzou is bringing some 2025 kids in the weekend of January 20.

By our count, Missouri currently sits at 81 scholarship players for next season. We expect Ty'Ron Hopper and Harrison Mevis to declare for the NFL Draft by January 15, which will put Mizzou at 79. That means there's room for at least six more additions (Trajan Greco plus five transfers). Any other transfers out--which at this point appear they will wait until the spring transfer period--would open up extra spots if Mizzou wants to use them.

We've updated the transfer tracker with all of the information up until this post.

Here are the players we expect on campus in Columbia this weekend:

The App State running back has been at Tulane the last couple of days and should get to Mizzou today. We think he is a likely commit some time soon.

The Mizzou commit is arriving in town on Friday for a visit. We assume he'll just stick around or maybe make a quick trip back to St. Louis before coming back to Columbia permanently in the next few days.

It will be good to have Pride on campus on Friday because he can spend time with Jaydon Hill, who is expected to arrive today. That could be your starting cornerback tandem next season. Hill had 88 tackles, 16 passes defended and two interceptions in 43 games as a Gator over the last four seasons. He was a starter this year and has one season of eligibility remaining. He was supposed to be at Texas A&M earlier this week as well. The Aggies had nine transfer visits this week, five of whom were cornerbacks. They picked up a commitment from Cal Poly CB transfer Donovan Saunders yesterday, so not sure how that might impact Hill.

The rest of the visits will happen either Saturday or Sunday. Most of these transfers don't spend the full two days on campus because they're trying to pack multiple visits in so they're closer to 24 hour trips than 48.

Manuel played in nine games and started four for the Razorbacks this season. He visited Florida the last couple of days, but we haven't seen any indication at this point he has committed. We are confident Cayden Green is slated for left tackle. Armand Membou has started the last two years at right tackle, but is capable of playing inside. Signee Jayven Richardson can play guard or tackle (we have been told he's probably better as a tackle, but definitely can play guard). If Mizzou adds Manuel, the position shuffling will be interesting. He has two years left to play.

Graham is another lineman who offers position flexibility. He has visited Ohio State and Pittsburgh, is at Texas A&M today and should be in Columbia tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if Mizzou would take both Graham and Manuel. Graham also has two years left.

Missouri finished second for Young out of high school. We do not know of any other visits he has taken. We would think he is on commit watch for the Tigers. He had 26 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 4.5 TFL this season. He has three years to play two.

Hastings entered the portal after Alabama's loss to Michigan. To our knowledge, this is his first visit. He was the No. 15 defensive tackle and No. 248 overall player in the Class of 2022. He redshirted in his first year at Bama and did not play this season. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

If Missouri could get Noel, Hill, Hastings, Young and either Manuel or Graham this weekend, the Tigers would probably be done in the portal other than filling in a gap or two after spring departures. They did offer New Mexico State DT Sterling Webb last night. Webb had 30 tackles, 6 TFL and 4.5 sacks for the Aggies this season as a true sophomore. He is a graduate of Westminster Christian Academy in St. Louis and has three years to play two. He was scheduled to visit Houston and Illinois the last couple of days and is expected to be at Arizona State this weekend. We will update you if that changes.

Should be a busy weekend. Stay tuned...
