It has been a very, very busy week on the recruiting trail in both sports. We've been tracking down all sorts of news and wrap things up in a pretty little package we like to call The Chamber.

First off, we'll start in basketball. The Elite Camp, from everything I can tell, was a major success. There were a lot of kids in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 classes. You've read quite a bit about the seniors like Chris Crawfordhttp://missouri.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=88958&sport=2.

Of the guys listed above, I kind of got the impression in talking to Wade that maybe Missouri had cooled a little bit. It was nothing specific, and it could be wrong, but I think there might be other targets out there that they want to see what happens. Same could very well be true with Purifoy. I know he is Leo Lyons' cousin, but that's not going to be a draw here. They hardly sound like they're hanging out all the time.

The biggest 2010 news I've got might be a kid who wasn't even in town. From what I hear, Missouri is recruiting Phil Presseyhttp://missouri.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=68341&sport=2, but I have a feeling Missouri gets one of them.

I've also got a new name for you in the 2010 class...and it's a hell of a name. How about South Kent, CT forward Majok Majok? He is a 6-foot-7, 230-pound native of the Sudan, and the cousin of Ater Matok, a UCONN player who recently withdrew from the NBA Draft. Majok is certainly a raw prospect, but a kid with plenty of potential. Various places list him as interested in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Providence and Rhode Island, but honestly not much is known about him at this point, other than he told a guy I know that Missouri was recruiting him this weekend. We'll make the effort.

Earlier this week, Rivals.com reported that offers had gone out to underclassmen Nino Williamshttp://missouri.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=85144&sport=2 (not the one that played safety here). Williams is a Puerto Rico native, but is playing in Kansas. I think the Tigers will be involved here.

I've also got a quick football note for you guys. Missouri continues to branch out into new recruiting areas and it appears we've uncovered another one. I got an email this week telling me Mizzou has offered Indianapolis safety Isaiah Lewishttp://missouri.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=92082. The kid's got more than ten offers from all kinds of Big Ten schools, but I am told he likes Mizzou and hopes to make it to Columbia for a visit. We're trying to get in touch with him for a story soon.

And, now, on to the report from Pete this week which, to be honest, is the reason I subscribe.

Obviously, Corbin Berkstresserhttp://missouri.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=99872&sport=1 committed to Missouri on Thursday, completely stealing my thunder from this week's Chamber.

But, there are a few notable things to point out:

Big month ahead?

We've already reported the news that LB Patrick Ivyhttp://missouri.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=90705&sport=1 could be committing to Missouri within the next few weeks. Ivy and Parham look more like done deals, and McDonald could go either way between the Illini and Tigers, but he was definitely blown away by his visit.

Well, there could be another out-of-state recruit committing to Missouri in the next month or so. Three-star OL Dan Koenighttp://missouri.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=92702&sport=1, from Florida, has an impressive offer list of 14 offers, including Miami, Nebraska and Tennessee.

However, he has two clear-cut leaders: Missouri and Oklahoma State.

Koenig plans to visit both schools sometime between July 14-26. And, while he said the other schools are still in the picture, the big tackle from Cape Coral said he's going to make a decision after those two visits. Seems to me like it's between the Cowboys and the Tigers.

Now, Koenig has two older brothers who both went to OSU. It's really going to come down to whether he wants to follow the family's tradition, or make his own. Either way, he said he loves Missouri and is excited to visit, so it seems like it will be neck and neck.

Newest offer has Missouri ties

This will be in the article later today, but Oklahoma CB Aaron Colvinhttp://missouri.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=87646&sport=1 has family in St. Louis. His mom and dad both grew up there (as Tiger fans, nonetheless), and his dad's side still lives there. While he's picked up offers from Oklahoma State and OU in the past week, he said there is as good a chance he goes out of state for college as staying in state. So, I still give the edge to the Sooners, but if he opts for a change of scenery, it's going to be Mizzou.

McCay update

Briefly talked with Justin McCayhttp://missouri.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=68780&sport=1. He's taking things slow right now (which is completely understandable) and hasn't trimmed his list down any further. Missouri is still right in the thick of things, however.

I'm still trying to track down OT Daryl Williamshttp://missouri.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=87125. The new, high-profile offers seem to have opened him up more, but he's always said how "at-home" he felt at Missouri. If he takes an official visit to Columbia, that could really make the difference.
