FOOTBALL RECRUITING
Tick, tick, tick...Rivals250 defensive tackle Marquis Gracial is set to announce his decision at his high school later today at 5:30 p.m. You can watch the live stream of the announcement at THIS LINK.
All the momentum is trending towards Missouri here, even BamaInsider.com recruiting analyst Andrew Bone put in a FutureCast pick in favor of the Tigers on Wednesday.
If things fall into place for Missouri like we expect they should, Gracial would become the eighth overall commitment for the Tigers and third Rivals250 pledge in the 2022 recruiting class, joining SLU (Mo.) defensive back Isaac Thompson (#164) and Collins Hill (Ga.) quarterback Sam Horn (#79).
Gracial would also become the sixth in-state commitment in this year's class as well - joining Thompson, Tristan Wilson, Armand Membou, Ja'Marion Wayne, and Max Whisner.

Here is a short, cliff notes version of our various scoops below:
- Both Cayden Green and OL commit Armand Membou will be at "Night at the Zou" on June 2nd.
- Four-star lineman Deone Walker out of Cass Tech (Mich.) will visit Missouri unofficially with some of his teammates this summer, then cut his list down further before taking officials in the fall. He has Missouri among his Top 13 currently.
- Raytown (Mo.) offensive tackle Logan Reichert was one of the underclassmen standouts from this past weekend. He's picked up early offers from Missouri and Georgia. He told us he'll be at Missouri on June 23rd. His mother is also a Mizzou grad, so expect the Tigers to be in this one for the long haul.
- Troy Buchanan (Mo.) defensive lineman Jakhai Lang is another in-state underclassmen that turned some heads last weekend. He just recently picked up an offer from the Tigers and we've heard he'll be a top priority guy for the staff moving forward.
VISIT RUNDOWN
Missouri's big event is going to be Night at the Zou on June 2nd. We expect all the current commitments to attend as six of them (likely seven as of tonight) are within driving distance and it is expected Sam Horn will make the trip up from Georgia. Oklahoma defensive lineman Chris McClellan has previously told us he'll be in CoMo for the event and Boonville DE DJ Wesolak has said the same. After some chagrin about the status of Toriano Pride on the board this week we did some checking and it is expected he will be in Columbia on June 2nd. To our knowledge, nothing significant has changed with Pride. Missouri is going to go after him hard. Getting Gracial on board this evening will help. The Tigers are going to be in the mix and we don't expect a commitment anywhere in the near future. But the competition is stiff, Pride is going to take visits and by no means are we sure Pride ends up at Mizzou (we aren't confident at this point in predicting anything in his recruitment).
Here are the official visits that have been confirmed so far for the Class of 2022 (to make it easy on yourself, you can just click here, but some prefer no extra clicks, so here's the list):
June 4-6
Antavious Woody
Joseph Hinton
June 11-13
CJ Stokes
June 18-20
Jaleel Johnson
Percy Lewis
June 25-27
Daughtry Richardson
Jadon Scarlett
Dylahn McKinney
Marquis Gracial
Tristan Wilson
Sam Horn is visiting in October for the North Texas game.
There will almost certainly be more. These are just the ones we've confirmed so far.
BASKETBALL RECRUITING
Because we know you'll ask, there are no new developments of which we are aware here. We're becoming more and more confident that Missouri will stand pat at 12 scholarship players for the time being. That doesn't necessarily preclude the Tigers adding another player before the start of the season. Again, the ideal situation would be a tall grad transfer, but the demand outweighs the supply there. You can't rule out the late addition or even a transfer that becomes available later this summer or even mid-year, but for now, it's looking to us like the roster is relatively set.
