We here at the Chamber want to make sure you read to the end. So we'll put the stuff that we know is going to generate the discussion last. Or maybe we won't. Maybe it will be at the beginning. Or maybe right in the middle. Guess you'll have to read the whole thing. And guess what? It took two posts because there's a lot of stuff here. So start reading and don't post "first" before you finish because that's dumb and @GabeD hates it.

FOOTBALL RECRUITING

QB TARGET VISITING COLORADO

- Lewis appears to be the other biggest want for Missouri at quarterback to go along with Brady Cook in the 2020 class. The three-star prospect took an official visit to Missouri last month where the Tigers made a good impression. This weekend, he will return to Colorado, a school that is also putting a full-court press in the Texas product's recruiting process. Lewis initially visited Colorado back in March, so this will be something to monitor this weekend.

ANOTHER QB TARGET TO KEEP AN EYE ON

- The South Carolina product received an offer from Missouri in early April and Derek Dooley stopped by his school last week to watch him throw. Garcia said he's building great relationships with the coaching staff and is planning to visit Mizzou this summer and camp. The three-star prospect took home MVP honors at the Rivals 3-Stripe Camp in Charlotte back in April.

JUCO CB TARGET TAKING SUMMER OFFICIAL, ADDING MORE OFFERS

- The former Parkway Central (Mo.) product has seen his recruiting process blow up after his freshman season at Hutchinson (Ks.) C.C. Missouri just recently extended an offer and he already has an official visit scheduled with the Tigers for July. This month, Green is taking unofficial visits to Tennessee and Kentucky. He also continues to add some major offers to his resume as well, with Georgia, Texas A&M, and Florida the latest to enter the race this week. We don't see Green swaying from his official visit to Missouri, there is a lot of appeal for him to potentially play for his hometown school. However, the more power five offers that come calling, the harder it will be to land the St. Louis native.

NEW OFFER WITH LOCAL TIES

- Defensive coordinator Ryan Walters was making the rounds in Florida this week and extended an offer the 6-foot-7, 250-pound defensive end. It turns out Davis is very familiar with the Missouri program, having grown up in Lee's Summit for 13 years before moving to Florida. Davis has offers UCF, West Virginia, Illinois, South Florida, and others.

NEW IN-STATE 2021 TARGET

- The Trinity Catholic wide receiver became the latest in-state 2021 prospect to receive an offer from Missouri. The 6-foot-3, 201-pound prospect is already off a hot recruiting start as programs like Illinois, Purdue, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee have also extended offers.

AROUND THE STATE

- The local Tolton Catholic (Mo.) offensive lineman picked up his second power five offer from Rutgers last week. He also has an offer from Kansas to go along with with Ivy League offers from Dartmouth and Columbia and a MAC offer from Buffalo. Mills has visited Missouri multiple times over the past couple of years.

- CBC offensive lineman Brady Freeney and current Rice commit picked up his first power five offer from Indiana this week. The Hoosiers also offered rising 2021 DeSmet offensive lineman Brody Wisecarver. Indiana is his fourth power five offer - Louisville, Kentucky, and Iowa State have also offered.

- Rubio is a fast-rising 2021 prospect that has recently collected new offers from Oklahoma State and Vanderbilt in the past week. The defensive line prospect also has a lengthy offer list that includes the likes of Iowa, Louisville, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, and others.
