- Before the game tomorrow, Missouri will have coaches on the road this evening. We're hearing that head coach Eli Drinkwitz will be in Kansas City to watch Rockhurst host Nixa in a playoff game. Nixa features 2026 five-star Jackson Cantwell while Rockhurst has 2024 Michigan commit Andrew Sprague. The chances aren't all that good with Sprague at this point, but they're not nonexistent. The Wolverines are going through some things. The expectation right now is that he'll sign with Michigan, but Missouri won't give up until he does.
Have heard running backs coach Curtis Luper will be in Alabama to check out former Auburn RB commit J'Marion Burnette. Burnette is visiting Georgia Tech this weekend, but he's been very active promoting Mizzou interest on social media and the Tigers are working to get him to campus.
- That all leads to another interesting visit weekend for Missouri, who is now ranked No. 9 nationally, as they are set to host the Florida Gators.
