FOOTBALL RECRUITING

With New Mexico State in town, it's another opportunity for Missouri to host a talented group of visitors. It's hardly the biggest weekend of the year, but here is who we expect to be on campus.

2023 Commits:

Nicholas Deloach
Joshua Manning

2024 Targets:

Daniel Kaelin, QB, Bellevue (Neb.) West - This will be at least the third time the three-star QB has been at Missouri's campus in the past year. He picked up an offer from the Tigers back in March during a visit. While he is currently in Nebraska, he grew up in Springfield, Missouri. K-State, Minnesota, Florida State, Michigan State, and others have also offered.

Other 2024's

Dontrell Holt, OL, Joplin (Mo.) - Holt has early offers from K-State and Iowa State to go along with Eastern Michigan and Missouri State. He's 6-foot-5, 290-pounds, so expect more P5 offers to come his way. He's also on the same high school team as 2024 TE target Whit Hafer.

Demetrius Jones, OL/DL, Lutheran North (Mo.) - Camped at Missouri over the summer. Has offers from Colorado, Eastern Kentucky, Northern Iowa, and Iowa State.

Anthony Thompson, DL/OL, Parkway North (Mo.) - Camped at Missouri over the summer. No notable offers right now, but plenty of interest from P5 programs.

Michael Boganowski, LB/S, Junction City (Kan.) - Offers from Oklahoma State, Kansas, K-State, and Nebraska.

Keynon Johnson, LB/TE, Truman (Mo.) - No offers, but receiving interest from the likes of K-State and Iowa State.

2025's:

Jason Dowell, OL, Cahokia (Ill.) - Recently picked up offers from Illinois and Iowa.

Mason Woods, WR/FS, Iowa City West - Picked up a Missouri offer this summer during camp.

BASKETBALL RECRUITING

So, this happened...

Parker's recruiting has been a little back and forth, at least from the talk we've heard from our sources. In the summer, we felt very confident Mizzou would get him. Then sometime around early September we were under the impression the Tigers had moved on. Now they seem to have gotten back together. The original source who told us in the summer that Parker was coming to Missouri (this was not a hedge, not a maybe, the source said he was coming) recently reached out again and told us he thinks Missouri will be the choice when Parker makes his commitment on December 12th.

Parker had a top five of Alabama, Mizzou, UCF, Florida State and Illinois about a month ago. Since then he's said he's still open to other schools, has been offered by Villanova and NC State (yesterday) and has taken an official visit to Nova. So far as we know, Parker hasn't been on campus at Mizzou. We'll definitely reach out to see if something is in the works there prior to December 12th. Again, we've got one person telling us he's pretty confident that Parker lands at Mizzou, but we're not confident enough to say that ourselves just yet.

If anything new develops, we'll keep you posted.
