- As expected by many, Andrew Mukuba committed to Clemson on Thursday. The day before his announcement, he released a Top 3 that included LSU, Clemson, and Texas. He is the one high school prospect that Missouri was recruiting heavily to join a defensive backfield class that already has five commitments. Now, we expect Missouri to take a wait and see approach in adding another defensive back or two to the class - maybe they get in on a late blooming senior, get a late flip, and there will be plenty of transfer options as well.
- Arden Walker, one of Missouri's remaining defensive line targets decided to back off his previously planned commitment date of October 8th. Not sure what this ultimately means for Missouri, but have to think it's a positive since we were previously told he was down to Texas and Mizzou and leaning more towards the Longhorns. Perhaps he's no longer a take for Texas, but Colorado and UCLA are other schools to keep an eye on as well. Back in July, those were programs (Mizzou, Texas, UCLA, Colorado) he deemed as his front runners.
- Earlier this week, Travion Ford tweeted that he has been admitted into Missouri and will move in on January 15th. In terms of other early enrollees that will join him, Daylan Carnell and Daniel Robledo are the other two that we know of right now. There could be others joining mid-year, but things are fluid at the moment. Tyler Macon told us at the Elite 11 Finals that he was planning to be a mid-year enrollee, so he could be one that is fluid right now. We're planning to catch up with him soon.
