FOOTBALL RECRUITING

All eyes on Missouri on Saturday as they host LSU, it's Tigers vs. Tigers in a matchup of Top 25 teams. It will likely be Mizzou's biggest recruiting visit weekend of the year, which is expected to have over 70 prospects in total on campus including three, five-star prospects. Here is a breakdown of the marquee visitors below:

COMMITS:

Williams Nwaneri, DE
Aidan Glover, QB
Jude James, ATH
Ryan Jostes, OL
Whit Hafer, TE
James Madison, WR
Brian Huff, LB
Julian Marks, DE - 2025

After visiting for the Middle Tennessee game, five-star defensive end Williams Nwaneri will return to campus for Mizzou's biggest game of the season so far.

Glover has put up impressive numbers during his senior season so far. He returns to Columbia for his first gameday experience with the Tigers after his official visit in June.

For Huff and Madison, this will be the second game they've each attended this season as well.

Marks returns to Missouri for his third game this season. He's previously been on campus for the Middle Tennessee and Kansas State games. He's the first 2025 commitment for the Tigers and has recently picked up offers from Oregon State, Wisconsin, and UNLV as well.

2024 TARGETS:

Ryan Wingo, WR
Caleb Pyfrom, OL - Illinois commit
Dominic Steward, OL - Troy commit

Five-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo is expected back for his second Missouri game this year after checking out the Tigers in their 34-27 win over Memphis at The Dome earlier this year. Wingo told PowerMizzou.com last month that he's been impressed how the Tigers are getting Luther Burden the ball in space and currently, Burden leads the NCAA in receptions (43) and yards (644) to go along with five touchdowns. Right now, Missouri is doing what they need to do on the field in order to win the Wingo sweepstakes.

Pyfrom has been committed to Illinois since June 29th after taking summer officials with the Illini, Nebraska, and Minnesota. He's clearly looking around and Missouri is in the market for some offensive linemen.

Steward committed to Troy during the summer and has seen his recruiting stock rise since his season began. He was just at UCF for a visit and picked up an offer from the Knights, now Missouri will get a chance to make their impression. He has been talking to offensive line coach Brandon Jones since July.

2025 TARGETS:

Isaiah Mozee, WR
Jason Dowell, DT
Joakim Dodson, WR
Lucas Farrington, RB
Eugene Hilton, WR
Charles Bass, CB
Jason King, LB
Jhrevious Hall, DT
Jeremiah Alvis, CB
Mason Alexander, CB

Mozee has been a frequent visitor for Missouri the past two years. This will be the second time he's attended a game this season after previously being at the Middle Tennessee game with Nwaneri.

Dowell is very high on Missouri in his recruiting process. He visited in the summer and was also at The Dome for the Memphis game. He's got an outstanding relationship with defensive line coach Al Davis and he's one we'd probably put on "commit watch" for 2025.

Farrington is making the trek from Atlanta, Georgia - he plays at Woodward Academy and just picked up an offer from Louisville.

Bass and King are St. Louis metro targets that have been on Missouri's campus multiple times already.

Dodson is teammates with 2024 QB commit Aidan Glover. They've formed a very good connection at Collierville (Tenn.) and the rising three-star prospect talks with wide receivers coach Jacob Peeler a lot. I'm sure there will be plenty of intrigue to join his QB at Mizzou.

Hilton, the son of longtime NFL wide receiver Ty Hilton, just put Missouri among his Top 6 schools after picking up an offer on September 18th. Ole Miss, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Miami, and FIU make up the other programs.

2026 TARGETS:

Jackson Cantwell, OT
Jack Utz, TE
Keenan Harris, S
Dezephen Walker, RB

Cantwell is the No. 3 player in the country for the 2026 class and has plenty of Missouri ties as his father, Christian, went to Mizzou and won an Olympic silver medal in shot put. Recently, the younger Cantwell has taken visits to Nebraska, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. He'll be a most-wanted prospect.

Utz picked up an offer from Missouri in June during their 7-on-7 tournament. He also has offers from Iowa State, Kent State, and UNLV.

Harris was at Missouri for the K-State game earlier this season.

Walker also finds himself in the initial Rivals100 in the 2026 class at No. 44 overall. He has other notable offers from Georgia, Oregon, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and others.

RB TO WATCH:

- As we appetized on Thursday, Missouri is making a strong push to flip current UCF running back commitment Stacy Gage, a teammate of current Mizzou commits James Madison, Nicholas Rodriguez, and Justin Bodford. Gage visited Missouri earlier this season for the K-State game alongside his teammates. So, this one is one to watch moving forward as Missouri would like to add a running back to their 2024 class.
