For the last 20 years and especially since Mizzou has been in the SEC, Mizzou has outperformed our recruiting rankings on the field. That includes a run on QB’s that pretty much every school in the nation is envious of. That was all built on 1 class that ranked in the top 25. Gary was amazing at that but that’s not normal. Since he left we’ve only had one year we’ve had a legit top 25 team (2018) and the recruiting classes have been in the 30’s or 50’s, minus Drinks first full year. We’ve literally been out recruited by everyone in the SEC minus Vandy.
I think we need to settle down on Drink and Co. cause this is a rebuild. Let’s also not forget we just got off sanctions. We’re in a hole talent wise right now and we ain’t gonna get out of it with magical 2-Stars. Ya’ll should relax cause this is a building year. 6-6 is damn good year now. What’s the recruiting class finishes is more important than what the team finishes. Support Drink.
