Here's what Id like for HCDG 1st 3 years as the Mizzou head basketball coach:
Year 1 - Hope. I'd really dig having some hope again. for me hope looks like: Getting a few good recruits. The meaning of good tbd.
Good play on the court. Seeing improvement. Seeing smart coaching. If you're playing meaningful games after Valentines day, you've done one hell of a job.
Year 2 - Playing meaningful games after Valentines day. A team always prepared and can compete with the top half of the league. If you make the tourney, you've done one hell of a job.
Year 3 - A team we feel confident should be at least a round of 32 team. Can compete at the highest level in conference. If you win the conference, you've done one hell of a job.
I really don't have any solid explanation but in my gut, I think this is a good hire. The AD from the top down is the youngest since Ive been a Tiger fan and I think they get what's going on in 2022. They're a hell of a lot younger than me that's for damn sure!
