It has arguably been a singular focus of media and much of Washington since it happened. The Dems have spent hours yammering about the same stuff, the big lie of Charlottesville, Trumps words about his adversaries ,his crowds chants, all kinds of stuff. A few times they say 5 people died.
It would seem the 5 deaths would be athe paramount issue. Yeah AOC was scared, though she was ten minutes away and blames Sen Cruise for trying to kill her. They have their little stories of their harrowing experiences that day. They cry as they talk about how afraid they were. Yet none of them were harmed. No staffers or employees of which there are thousands not involved with security, were touched .
So there were 5 deaths. One was a guy outside the Capitol that had a heart attack. Another that had a stroke outside the Capitol. A lady that went inside with the crazy bunch was reportedly trampled, but no firm confirmation of that. Another young woman that was unarmed was shot dead by a Capitol policeman. As far as I am concerned when the unruly bunch tried to breech the police line, first rubber bullets then deadly force should have been used. (I feel the same way about the far greater problem of the riots in our cities last summer). But there is nothing said about this unarmed female armed forces vet that was singled out to be shot and killed by a police lieutenant. They have not named the individual or explain why she was shot dead. Was it on purpose or was the shot to warn,a shot in anger, what happened?
The officer that did unfortunately lose his life is itself somewhat of a mystery. There has been no Definitive cause of death given or how it happened. Originally someone said that he was hit with a fire extinguisher. However the medical examiner said that is not possible. He went back to the station and collapsed there. With all of the focus on this why is there no witness testimony if someone really knows how he was injured or what he said about it before collapsing well after the riot? Where is the coroners report?
Yet here we are trying a president who they blame for the actions of a mob, while other than the emotional sensibilities of our elected goobers whining, there is little known about the three people who were killed inside. Those souls were lost that day, but it seems no one wants the investigation made public or anyone charged. Only Trump.
