Saturday Night, I saw a Massacre on Faurot Field.

Saturday Night, I saw a man that has run out of excuses and tried to make his final desperation plea.

I have long since accepted what will happen at the end of our 12th game this season, but I am still incensed nonetheless. Offense is poor, Defense is poor and Special Teams (Outside of Fatony) are poor as well.

We lose to South Carolina, and we are told by our Head Coach, that the team has to show some results soon.

We lose to Purdue, and we are told by our Head Coach, that they had the "Best Week of Practice" in the History of Missouri Football.

Now, this has suddenly turned into a massive rebuild". They aren't even good at sticking to their own fabricated stories. A situation that has lead me to question if Barrington fundamentally understands what is at stake for our program right now.

Playing in the SEC (especially for a school like Missouri) is a lot like a Dog Fight. And once a wounded dog goes down, the other dogs in the conference make sure that they don't get back up. We don't get a second chance at this.

Now, I am someone that has had a great deal of personal success in my life. Through this, I can see traits in other successful people and vice versa. The way Barrington flailed and flopped through that tirade was a mix between, a petulant child and a scorned girlfriend. I actually even felt a little bad for him on Saturday Night, because he seemed like he might even 5% believe that he will win big here after some infinite span of time. I could not tell whether it was more delusion, or him trying to convince the remaining 95% of himself.

P.S. Did anybody else find it creepy, when he was going into detail about some High School player's Twitter Account? Like, what do you stay up searching for online, man? Is this what he is worried about more than the success and preparation of our team?

I guess, that doesn't really tamp down the statement of delusion that I made before either.
