Whew...tonight sucked. We can officially forget about any postseason bids (NIT included). We are likely starting this season out in SEC play at 1-6 and staring at last place eye to eye...HOWEVER, we have some winnable games left that could get us to that .500 mark and a somewhat respectable season following the Jontay injury. Here are the winnable games I see left:

Win 4-5 of those 6 and pull and we could be .500 overall (hey...it’s better than what Illinois will be, that’s something right?)
As far as 2020 goes, we aren’t making the tournament unless Cuonzo finds another reliable big, that much is clear. The guard play could be there if Dru is as good as advertised. But, he absolutely HAS to hit the transfer/grad transfer market this spring. And honestly one of the backups probably needs to find a new home.
