This would be a 24 team playoff, which I think is ridiculous personally. No one would watch Miami Ohio vs Florida or FAU vs Penn State. Be a complete waste of time.
Personally I'm for removing the 12 game schedule, go to 11 games (most schools just don't play an FCS of G5 school). 6 team playoff, 5 conference champions + 1 At Large (could be a G5 like UCF).
I think this makes the most sense in the future. Why is Oregon not getting a shot this year? They just beat a top 5 team in Utah.
8 is too much, 6 would be right for the future. 4 was perfect this year honestly, but one of these years we will get 5 conference champions who all deserve to go and someone will get left out.
