However, I don't know if the plaintiffs will be considered to have standing to sue. It sounds like there might be other lawsuits based on gambling losses. If this is successful, maybe the season ticket holders of collegiate teams would have standing to sue in a similar manner. I have to say that neither the NCAA or the NFL have addressed the repeat problems with poor consistency in officiating. Maybe there is a means to force them to clean up the officiating, if they will not do it themselves.
