I'll admit, my love of college hoops has been slowly waning over the years for various reasons, all of which are talked about on here ad naseaum. The hiring of Cuonzo and the hype that began with MPJ and Jontay signing really brought me up from the dregs of college hoops fandom. I'm just not sure what I have in me for a team like this that just isn't very good. I'm all about staying the course and believing that Cuonzo is the guy for this program but it's hard to even see this team get to .500 at his point which was a fireable season for Quin Snyder in 2005. This would have been a great year to have hit on some of the more high-profile recruits and kept some momentum going but it appears to be all about development this year which happens just about everywhere except ku, Duke, UK etc. I guess that's what being a college basketball fan is if you haven't attached yourself with a blue-blood. Bummer.
