First off I think this is the way we have to win. I'm seeing everyone call this an ugly win, but we have to get tough on defense and hit the boards. Ugly wins are going to be our identity.
Barnett didn't have the greatest of stats, but I liked seeing him be more aggressive on the offensive end. I also thought he was much tougher on the defensive end.
Mr. Tilmon brought it tonight. Looked great! Hope he can keep playing smart and having more flashes of this.
Porter is tough to get around. He is going to be a block machine! If he develops a few post moves on the block watch out.
For all the crap CVL and Nikko get, I thought they were very solid tonight. Had some huge moments on D and gave us some depth on the bench. We are going to have to have more of them the rest of the way.

Geist was tough down the stretch. Some really good defensive possessions and had a ton of rebounds finishing out. FT's an issue but he was solid.
I absolutely HATE talking about officials but good grief. Porter with an unbelievable block, Tilmon's block, foul called on us when Sexton tripped and fell, the list goes on. We finally had some drives to the bucket and couldn't buy a foul. I mean we had 6 fouls at the 16:30 mark. Some were legit...most were not.
All said and done, a win is a win. Let's keep this rolling. Show up Saturday folks and fill the stands. I feel good about this group down the stretch!
