The bulk of the work was done on the first day of the signing period. Just a few quick updates here for you guys:
Antar Thompson should be confirmed by Mizzou sometime today. There was a paperwork issue that took longer than expected yesterday, but no worries. He'll sign with Missouri.
Swinson will decide today or tomorrow between Missouri and Nebraska. We're guessing Nebraska, but we really have no idea.
Mills will sign with Missouri at a ceremony tomorrow. No worry on the delay. This was his plan. He wants his father to be able to be there when he signs.
Brown is announcing tomorrow at noon. I exchanged some messages with him last night. He's either very good at building up interest or Missouri has an excellent shot to land him. The ceremony's going to be worth watching for Tiger fans I think. As of this morning, I think the Tigers get him. I don't know that. He didn't tell me that. But this could be your four-star signing day surprise.
If that happens and the Tigers add Michael Thompson in February, along with Eddie Smith and potential rankings bumps for guys like Trajan Jeffcoat and Jarvis Ware, you are looking at a certain top 30 class I would think with the potential to sneak into the top 25.
Let me repeat: Don't judge recruiting classes until they're done.
