I just spoke to Hawaii grad transfer Drew Buggs. Will have a full write-up tomorrow, but thought this noteworthy. He said Mizzou’s staff is recruiting him as a point guard. Said their pitch is they have the pieces but they need someone to come in and run the show next year. Now, that might just be something you say in recruiting to try to get a guy interested. But my gut instinct is the staff is planning as if Xavier Pinson will not be back next year. I talked to someone who would know earlier in the week and he said Pinson hasn’t made a decision one way or the other, so don’t freak out, but definitely something to keep in mind.
