First of all, I'm not going to pretend I'll have the ability to cover this like we do football or basketball. We won't. When we get information we'll pass it on, but it's not going to be daily updates or camping out at the airport.
Anyway, here's what I've heard in the last 24 hours:
*Tony Vitello absolutely wants the job. Always has. He's definitely on Missouri's radar and there may have already been contact between the two sides.
*Steve Bieser from SEMO absolutely is interested in the job. Believe there has been some contact between the two sides, but not sure on that.
*A name that was mentioned to me as having expressed interest in the job is Iowa coach Rick Heller. For those of you (like me) who don't know anything about him, here's his bio (it's pretty impressive): http://www.hawkeyesports.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/rick_heller_852997.html Not sure what Mizzou's interest level in Heller would be.
