Mizzou wrestling coach Brian Smith was the guest speaker at the Tiger Club of Kansas City on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
Coach Smith has brought his trademarked Tiger Style wrestling to Mizzou fans for 20 years. This year’s team, seeking its 7th conference championship in a row, is off to an 8-0 start after a 36-6 win at the Hearnes Center on Sunday. The Tigers, ranked No. 4 in the country (their 65th consecutive week in the Top 10), now head to the Reno Tournament of Champions on Dec. 17 and end the 2017 portion of their schedule with the South Beach Duals on Dec. 29 & 30.
The Tiger Club of KC meets each Tuesday at the Westport Flea Market Bar and Grill. Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. with the program beginning at Noon. Our Tuesday, December 19 guest speaker will be Truman High School graduate Todd Leabo from Between the Lines on Sports Radio 810 WHB.
