He just shot an 82 today, highest score as a pro, on one of the easiest courses on tour. In the past, there have been players to completely lose it, Ian Baker Finch comes to mind. But, never a player of Woods level, he won 5 times in 2013.
The difference between now and past struggles for Woods is his short game, he basically has the yips. He had 2 sculls and a couple chunks just today.
I don't see him getting to 18. He may catch lightning in a bottle sometime in the future but the competition combined with an ageing body lead me to believe he may not even get one more major.
