It's time....rip the band-aid off. Throw Lock in there and live with the results for year one. This team isn't going anywhere this year, especially with all of the injuries mounting up on D. Let the kid work through his issues - he's shown the moxie and maturity so far to lead me to believe that he can handle some ups and downs. But what are we doing here with Mauk leading this team? It's just treading water....badly. The thing about QBs - and really all players....they're supposed to show improvement from year to year. I've yet to see it from MM. In many ways it seems like he's regressed.
Lock is going to be starting for this team next year, without question. I see no point in delaying that inevitability.
