BG gave them all they wanted for a half before superior size and speed took over. Had big issue protecting QB and getting running lanes inside, go outside on jets and end arounds better. QB is good runner and passer but we knew that, running backs are much better than MU's but Oline wasn't impressive, tho had number of starters hurt or even out for year so they havn't had much time working together. just superior athletes and numbers seemed to get to BG in second half and they put it away, finally but if you are a Vols fan, you are not happy.
defensively they didn't really get as good a pass rush as one would think and BG ran up gut erratically. where they have big problems in in secondary. especially their Right CB was burned repeatedly by a slow pale receiver on the same go route, over and over again. BG had good success short, medium and long passes with wide open receivers, so looks like D line is strength and didn't do that well against BG, good luck in SEC.
when OU goes against them it could get ugly, early. tv guys talked a lot about all the 5 stars everywhere but they didn't play like it.
