I'm going to count down the top 25 Mizzou football players of the last 25 years (so No. 1 will be posted the day before Mizzou vs Murray State).
Today, we hit one of my all time favorites. Favorite for me means something different than it does for a lot of you. Sure, it's about the play on the field. But it's also about the interactions off of it, the guys that make my job easier and more fun by engaging the media. Years ago, this relationship was different. We were there every day. We talked to players far more often. We got to know them and they got to know us. A big part of why the 2007 team will always be the one I enjoyed the most is because I truly developed actual relationships with some of the guys during that era and still keep in touch with a few. That's true for the next player on the list as much as any that's played here during my time covering the team.
