In my opinion, this is a smart decision by TUA.
Bama loses at least their top 2 WRs, maybe top 3. I saw one is coming back, but it aint Ruggs or Jeudy. He loses a couple linemen, but that's every year at Bama.
If he leaves this year and is healthy by draft (questionable), he is probably the 2nd QB taken behind Burrow. Probalby top 10, maybe top 5. If he stays, I can only see him falling.
His WR crew will not be nearly as good. His stats can't get much better unless he has the greatest season of a college QB ever, so it looks like a drop there. Even if he plays out of his mind, he is probably still drafted behind Trevour Lawrence. He also could easily fall behind tOSU's QB in the draft. So even if all that happens, he could be drafted in the same spot, but probably worse. He could also get hurt again.
Mock Drafts have Tua going to Miami, not terrible with the picks and cap room they have. Additionally, the AFC East should be wide open soon.
