We'll do the same thing we did yesterday. Throughout the day, all our recruiting news will go here. Make sure you read yesterday's before peppering us with questions we've already answered.

*The big news is last night's commitment of CBC tight end Niko Hea.

Honestly, we were surprised when Hea left his official visit two weekends ago without an offer. We'd heard great things about him coming into that trip. Sources told us they had no idea how he'd slipped through the cracks. But Missouri chased Sam Snyder for a bit and it appeared Hea was going to have to wait.

Snyder was set to inform the coaches recruiting him where he would sign yesterday. We don't know where that is, but have to assume it happened and that it was not Missouri. The Tigers wasted no time in reaching out to Hea after they found out Snyder's decision and he accepted on the spot. Hea is the 16th commitment, including the sixth from the city of St. Louis. Looks like we can kill one narrative...at least for this year.

*At some point today, Tulsa defensive end Isaiah McGuire will announce his commitment. There is reason for Missouri to feel very good about this one. We know some will look at the offer list and turn up their nose, but the fact is that Mizzou offered McGuire months ago, after Night at the Zou in late July. This isn't a last minute reach. He's had a Missouri offer for five months. Whether they're wrong on him or everyone else is, we'll find out down the road. But we're projecting him on the commitment list by the end of the day.

That would bring Missouri's commit list to 17, plus two transfers. That means the Tigers go into the early signing period with 19 scholarships committed. We'll update the scholarship chart later this morning, but that leaves room for approximately six more players in this class. We'll post a full list of guys we're watching tomorrow morning along with predictions for each of them, but we think there's a good chance Missouri is sitting at 24 by the end of this week.

*ICYMI yesterday, both Arvell Ferguson and Shemar Pearl told us yesterday they're not signing until February. That's a pretty clear indication that academic progress needs to be made before Mizzou is comfortable adding them to the class. So while the commitment list may be as high as 24, the actual number of signees will probably be no more than 22. If things look good for Pearl and Ferguson academically, Missouri will sign them in February. If not enough progress is made, though, that could open up two more spots for the late signing date. We also would be shocked to see Chester Graves sign anywhere early.

We'll update this throughout the day as we get more information.

12:00 UPDATE: Isaiah McGuire committed to Missouri moments ago

We are also expecting DT target Chris Daniels to make an announcement tomorrow on where he'll be going.
