Note that Tyler is at least the second Tiger recruit who had offers from two, or more, services academies. IMO, that is a very positive sign. If you are qualified for the academies, you must be a very good student with a great moral character. Also, several other commits had offers from highly rated (academically) schools. Some schools recruit based mostly on athletic performance. Mizzou, now, tends to blend in a lot of "whole person" in with the athletic potential. Also, Lindsey Scott transferring in this semester and being available for winter workouts and spring practice...is also very positive for the QB depth in 2018 and beyond. His signing and coming in early may not fully be appreciated in the team rankings. I really like a talented QB who a one year in the LSU program, excelled one year in junior college, and has three years to play a full three years. I think about the excellent QB from Middle Tennessee a few years back. He was the coaches son, red shirted his freshman year, and as a junior had superb command of the offense. IMO, Scott may be in a similar mold (smart, experienced, and talented) when we need him.
