The reason the Slaver AD quit is that there is a backroom deal and handshake agreement already in place for the below.
Missouri will be let out of its SEC contract and OSU will be brought in at the same time as Texas and OU. It's a straight swap at best but athleticly, a net positive for the SEC. This will be done to quiet the politicians in Oklahoma City. Missouri and KU to the B1G. B1G owns the KC and St Louis markets. SEC owns the Texas and Oklahoma market.
