Just spoke with 2017 Kansas City (Mo.) Hogan Prep ATH Da'Ron Davis. Davis, as was posted on the board recently, tweeted that he could make a decision this coming Sunday. However, he told me that after talking with his parents, he's going to hold off -- sticking to his original plan of committing somewhere toward the end or right after his junior year.
He said Missouri is still his top school, and his decision to delay has nothing to do with Missouri. He, at his parent's request, just doesn't want to rush into a commitment right now.
He'll camp with Kansas State on Saturday (this has been planned for a while). He was supposed to go to Alabama's camp last weekend, but had to cancel because of transportation issues. He's visiting Missouri likely on Aug. 10.
I'll write a story on our interview, but these were the main points from our conversation.
